Why choose Montmartre ?
 
Montmartre is in the North of central Paris. Thanks to the Moulin Rouge and the Sacre-Coeur Basilica, it is one of the most touristical district in Paris. It has long been the home of artists, especially painters, including Picasso and Renoir, Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec and Utrillo, and some people say it is the most romantic part of the French capital. The recent success of the movie Amelie proves that Montmartre is as lively and popular a place to stay as ever.

No one wants to climb these stairs with their luggage - or every time they go out, for that matter. This is why we have kept the apartment/flat just at the bottom, at optimal distance of the subway/underground station, the shops and the sights.

The touristical "Place du Tertre" is just up a flight of steps.
